EK9 Explorers

Elevated K9 Explorers is a group for people who love dogs and nature, or for any dog/handler team that wants more exercise! The EK9 Explorers group offers group walks and hikes at dog friendly parks around Grand Rapids, MI. 

When you sign up for an EK9 Explorers group, you can expect to go on 6 nature walks/hikes lasting a minimum of 30 minutes each, where we also help you teach your dog fun new skills like directional commands (go left, go right), wait (to let people pass by), paws up, over, and under. While hiking, we ask that dogs do not meet each other. The focus is on physical exercise and bonding with your dog, and we want to make this class accessible to all dogs, even if they don't like meeting other people/dogs. If all participants agree, we can do an optional dog meet & greet at the end of the hike. 

This class is weather-dependent, but you will receive a text/email alert if class is cancelled, and a make-up date will be provided.

2024 EK9 Explorers Group Schedule:

Starting Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30pm, running for 6 weeks - $50/team, OR drop-in style for $10/week 

Starting Wednesday, July 10th at 6:30pm, running for 6 weeks  - $50/team, OR drop-in style for $10/week
